Witte Vibratory Indirect Dryer and Cooler Unit engineered for gentle processing of difficult-to-handle bulk solids

The Witte Vibratory Indirect Dryer and Cooler is engineered for gentle processing of bulk solids that require controlled drying, cooling, or both. Indirect dryers and coolers transfer heat through the steel wall of the vibrating vessel. This design helps isolate the product from direct air contact and supports controlled temperature conditioning.

  • Chilled water is often used for cooling applications, while steam or hot liquid can be used for drying.

  • Achieve lower heat exchange rates compared to a fluid bed but find their application in small flow rates of difficult to handle materials.

  • The material moves with the same vibratory motion as our fluid bed units.

  • There are no screens or moving parts making this unit easy to access and clean.

  • Custom-engineered design can be tailored to specific requirements, moisture targets, and temperature specifications at the Witte testing laboratory.

The Witte Company designs and manufactures drying, cooling, classifying and related process equipment at it’s headquarters in Washington, New Jersey. Click the link here for more information about Witte.
